Starting school for the first time!
For children starting school for the first time in Nursery, we have two intakes - September 2017 and January 2018. For reception children, there is one intake in September 2017. In their first two weeks, the Nursery children attend the morning session only, and in the third week they stay for the full duration of the school day. During the first two weeks, parent meetings are held with the classteacher on a one-to-one basis. These procedures help settle the children quickly into their new school life. Please note: Children who attend our Nursery will still need to apply for a place in Reception the following year. In the term before starting school, parents will receive a letter inviting them to a meeting and tour of the school.
