The Education Directorate in Rhondda Cynon Taf is fully committed to achieving its Mission of achieving Equity and Excellence in Education and Enhanced Wellbeing for all. As part of this improvement agenda, enhancing the wellbeing of children, young people and the workforce is a key priority. At its heart is ensuring that schools are happy, safe and nurturing environments where everyone is treated with care, respect, dignity. The unacceptable behaviours of a very, very small minority can threaten this on rare occasions. These actions will not be tolerated and may result in the implementation of sanctions (please see attached poster) in extreme cases. We hope we can rely on the support of all members of our school community to achieve our Mission and to engage in respectful interactions with others. This will enable us to work in partnership to ensure that your child makes good educational progress and that issues of concern are resolved swiftly when challenges arise.
